It is our delight to welcome you to our congregation. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share your company, to share our service of worship, and the opportunity to be of service to you. You will find in our company a group of believers who come joyfully to God’s Word to be blessedly reminded of what Jesus has done for us as our Lord and Savior. We seek to be a place of peace in a world of chaos where we can be strengthened in the love of Jesus. Our hope is that you will find that same peace and join us in worshipping our blessed Messiah.
Worship begins at 10am but doors open at 9:30 (sometimes earlier) as our folks arrive to begin to prepare to worship the Lord. If you are coming in the front doors of the sanctuary, you will find Worship bulletins on the table to your right as you enter, please take one, find a seat and take a moment in prayer. Rest rooms can be found on the lower level, stairs to your right as you come in. If you are coming in from the main parking lot, there are signs that will point you to the sanctuary. You will come in through the rear of our chapel and you will find Worship Bulletins to the table on your left. You will pass a restroom to your left on your way down the halls to the Sanctuary. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask anyone in the Sanctuary. If they cannot answer, they can point you to someone who can.
We broadcast our services weekly via YouTube. To tune in online, please join us on our Youtube Channel. The broadcast usually begins a few minutes before 10.

Each Sunday, we include a Children's Message led by our own Kristie Stuart. Kids are invited down front in the sanctuary to take part. Following that, everyone is dismissed to Sunday School for the duration of the Worship Service with a lesson that follows up on the Children's Message.
The Sunday school curriculum at FPC Merchantville is for children K-6th grade. The unique combination of traditional classroom education combined with fun crafts, videos, and physical activity allows for children of every learning style to learn and succeed.
Each lesson plan includes Bible readings, and is designed to mirror the lesson being delivered to the congregation - which can lead to deep and meaningful discussion with family at home. The end result is children and families who can feel the love and joy of the Lord in their hearts

We would love to answer them!
Good question, because it looks like limited street parking when you drive past the Church on Maple Avenue. But turn down Centre Street beside the church and you will find a big old parking lot behind the church, one we share with the school. Pull in, find a spot, and you will see the Welcome sign on the side of the church to guide you in.
There is! The whole family comes together to begin the worship service together. But then, before the pastor gets going on his message, there is a Message for Youth and Children. Led by Kristie Stuart, it is a Message our kids (although the adults will get something out of it too). Then, the kids are dismissed to Sunday School through the end of worship!
Our service lasts about an hour. Music, the Voice of Heaven, is the connector of all the elements of the service. We enter in with a greeting to the Lord, a call to come together. There is then the opportunity to lay down the burdens of the week before the Lord, allowing the Lord to sweep them out of the way of worship. We join together in peace, dismiss the kids (some argue that’s more peace), and come together to hear the Word of the Lord read and explored. Finally, we respond in prayerful thanksgiving and intercession. Everyone is then invited to the Hearth Room for a time of Fellowship and Good company after celebrating the Company of our Lord Jesus.
Our ministries are generally listed in our Worship Bulletin, either on the calendar or under the News of Heaven and Earth. The easiest way to connect is to contact the church office by email or telephone and we will put you in touch with our Contact people.
Our groups are also listed in our Worship Bulletin with times and locations. Once again, for contact information, contact the church office and we will put you in touch with the Contact people for each group.
Take a moment at the end of worship to talk to Pastor Pete on your way out of worship. Let him know. He will ask you to follow up with an email so time can be set aside to talk more indepth about the possibilities. Our church has active ‘in house’ missions and active partnership missions to get involved with.
Growing up in the church, I learned about God and was taught that Jesus was his son, But, I did not know him in a Real and Personal way. Then on August 11, 1987 The Spirit of the Lord came upon me and Saved me from my sins. I accepted Jesus that day as my Lord and Savior. Now as a believer I now strive to obediently serve the Lord with gladness and share the good news of the Truth and Eternal Hope which is found in Jesus Christ alone. We pray that the Lord Jesus is alive and present in our many ministries of Worship, Teaching. Community Outreach and Charity. To God be the glory,
— Theresa
Being called to this church was being called to a place where we felt the wind of the Lord's Spirit blowing. There is joy, there is dedication, there is love in this place. Blessed me from our first conversations that this is where the Lord was calling me to serve.
