Make a joyful noise to God!
Music is a central part of our Congregation’s identity and a means of glorifying God in Jesus Christ, discovering one’s gifts to deepen a life of faith, and involving all ages and voices as leaders in Sunday Worship.
Music For Adults: Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is directed by Kim Tomlin and sings every Sunday from September through May. The Chancel Choir welcomes adult singers and meets every Thursday evening to rehearse, grow in faith and fellowship, and make music to God’s glory.
The Chancel Choir leads special Worship Services throughout the year, including the Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve and our Christmas and Easter Cantatas.
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Music For Adults: Praise Team
Contemporary praise music is integrated into blended Services with our Praise Team, led by Jo Elynn Cook and accompanied on piano by Kim Tomlin. This group of singers rehearses once a month and leads the Congregation in contemporary songs during at least two Services a month. Anyone is welcome to join as a regular or a guest.
We also enjoy the addition of different musicians who want to share their instrumental talents on any given week.
The Bell Choir is directed by Kim Tomlin and plays several times throughout the year. We welcome High School-aged students through all adult ages to join us in ringing our 3 octaves of hand bells.
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Bean Room.
